System Trainer
The Pet Trainer Specialist Card is the Tamer specialist: with it equipped you can tame wild monsters into pets and then train them. A tamed pet fights at your side, and the stronger the monster you tame, the stronger the pet.
Find the Pet Trainer NPC (Lucy) in the world — she runs the Pet Trainer Shop where you can buy the essences and tools you need to tame and evolve your pets.
How to tame
Section titled “How to tame”- Equip the Pet Trainer Specialist Card and find a tameable monster (see the list below).
- Weaken it below 50% HP, and make sure its level is lower than yours.
- Use the capture skill: there is a chance to tame it. If it fails, weaken it again and retry.
Star rating
Section titled “Star rating”Every tamed pet has a star rating (from 1 to 5 stars). The more stars, the stronger the pet: its attack power, hit rate, defences, HP/MP and elemental resistances all scale with the pet’s stars and your Hero Level, so the same pet keeps getting stronger as your Hero Level rises.
The one to five star boss “Mini” pets (Mother Cuby, Zenas, Asgobas and the other raid bosses) are the rarest and the strongest companions.
Pet skills
Section titled “Pet skills”A tamed pet doesn't just grow stronger — as its Training Level rises it also learns combat skills. Each pet ends up with two stances rolled from the five below, which then rank up over time (up to rank 7).
- Lv 10First skill — Your pet learns its 1st stance — one of the five below, picked at random (rank 1).
- Lv 20Second skill — It learns a 2nd stance, always different from the first (rank 1).
- 25 · 35 · 45 · 55 · 60Skill upgrades — at each of these Training Levels one of the two stances ranks up by +1 (random), climbing toward rank 7.
The five stances
Aggressive StanceSelfRaises the pet’s attack power while active.
Defensive StanceSelfRaises the pet’s defences while active.
Area StunAreaStuns the enemies around the pet (area of effect).
Mad GrabAreaPulls nearby enemies to the pet and grabs their attention.
First AidSelfHeals the pet to keep it in the fight.
Each stance has 7 ranks that get stronger as the pet trains. Resetting a pet's Training Level clears its skills and re-rolls them next time it hits level 10 and 20, so you can reroll for the pair of stances you want.
Mission Book
Section titled “Mission Book”The Mission Book tracks one-off goals for the Pet Trainer. Complete a mission and claim its reward from the book — each one can be claimed once.

Some are captured in the wild, others come from a NosMate pearl: pearls drop from raid boxes and chests (amber tags), while the one to five star “Mini” boss pets are crafted (green tags).
